Ek Din Ek Raat

Movie is about those
incident that take place in the lives of eight friend. Movie coveted into two
parts. First part is covered with comedy and second one tries to thrill the
audiences. In the prolog, director used central character to express the logic
that is “If we trust we have god as invisible power of goodness then we must
have ghost too as invisible power of bad fortune. As the way this argument
brings to raise the issue about presence of devil or not ? So, they went out to
find out its zest.
The voyage begins from kathmandu to Palung. This voyage takes the audience to beautiful locations, wherein the calibers of cinematographer is praise worthy and catchy. We have to appreciate this movie because hardly sequences were extracted from foreign movie. Some audiences claim that the movie is better than bollywood road,……. Deepak Bajrachray and Dev Kumar Shrestha have tried to spray the impression of music video on the movie song. Movie should be watched for artistic presentation rather than seriousness and storytelling. Sound department deserves congratulation for having made such a thrilling sound. Ek Din Ek Raat became as thriller movie because of such thrilling sound otherwise may not so. Jagdisor Thapa’s script has some potential too.
However, the execution of the movie is not proper. There are some loopholes that murder the whole plot midway or other. The plot goes haywire for what the beginning oaths, the end fails to deliver. The main problem of the movie is that it stirs a broad (go out) with its own genre- thriller. Movie fail to thrill the audience. The presence of Supernatural power is felt but it fails to weird you. Though the dead haunt them on the trip, you feel that spookiness is eerily lacking. There is not well married between characters and their traits. Theater actor Anup Baral has presented as a schizophrenic. Although his schizophrenic behavior does not have any powerful back up at the end. He simply dies. Characters seem to be chatty. Movie looks like a vague of unrelated conversation. One by one new sequences have been created but not uncompleted. Video effect is applied as a theory of pick up and drove it. Finally, why director make alive to funny boy and fuchay? If they have meaning on the screenplay then why their condition has not been shown at the end ??????????? Remained unanswered.
